Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival Tirana Airport - Tirana (~20KM)

After arrival at the airport, you will meet and greet with your driver and Throughout guide and transfer to City center. You will start with the sightseeing of the capital. Lively, colorful Tirana is where this tiny nation's hopes and dreams coalesce into a vibrant whirl of traffic, brash consumerism and unfettered fun. Having undergone a transformation of extraordinary proportions since awaking from its communist slumber in the early 1990s, Tirana's center is now unrecognizable from those grey days, with buildings painted in primary colors, and public squares and pedestrianized streets that are a pleasure to wander. Tirana sightseeing will start with the visit of the main boulevard, Scanderbeg square, main administrative buildings, presidency, pyramid, Et'hem Bey Mosque.

Dinner and overnight in Tirana.

Day 2 Shkodra - Kotor - Trebinje (~280 KM)

After breakfast, meeting your guide in the hotel, you will start the city tour of the Northern city of Shkoder. Shkodra, the traditional center of the Gheg cultural region, is one of the oldest cities in Europe and arguably the most attractive urban center in Albania. Visit of the city center, Ebu Bekr Mosque, Catholic and Francescana Church and castle of Rozafa in Shkoder

After visiting the "northern capital" of Albania you will have lunch in a traditional restaurant in Shkodra. After Lunch, the next destination is Kotor Montenegro. Visit of the old town of Kotor, city walls, clock tower, Serbian church. Entrance at St Tryphon Cathedral. Transfer to Trebinje for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Trebinje - Dubrovnik - Mostar (~170 KM)

After breakfast, meeting your guide in the hotel, you will depart for the tour for today. Dubrovnik, one of the most amazingly beautiful cities in Europe, has been evaluated as the “paradise on earth” by George Bernard Shaw. The tour for today starts with the Old Town of Dubrovnik, part of UNESCO World Heritage List, the real pearl. Lucky for us, the city is well preserved from the scratches of time. Even though most of the buildings you will see were badly damaged from the earthquake of 1667, still they were reconstructed and since then they still hold the beauty of the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque style in the churches, monasteries, buildings and fountains. You can see this since in the entrance to the old town, from either of the gate, Pila or Ploce Gate. On the way on the walls, you will also pass aside the old port of Dubrovnik, a very protected port as one of the only ways of entering the town. There are two breakwaters protecting the port and around the port are the St. John Fortress, St. Luke fort and Ravelin Fortress to ensure the safety of the port. In Dubrovnik you will also visit other highlights such as the Treasury Cathedral, the Rolando Colon, the Rectors Palace, Onofrio Fountain, the third oldest pharmacy in the world and the only one still functioning, etc. and so by the end of the tour in Dubrovnik you will be convinced that surely Dubrovnik is the pearl of the Adriatic. After feeling the spirit of Dubrovnik and lunch, you will be transferred to Mostar for a short visit of this lovely ottoman town.

Dinner and Overnight in Monstar.

Day 4 Sarajevo all day (.00 KM)

After breakfast, meeting your guide in the hotel, you will start the tour of Sarajevo. The Ottomans established the town in the 15th century and the governor himself lived in the center of the city. It had typical Ottoman architecture in the buildings, in the market and it was one of the most important of the area, serving also as a capital of vilayet. In the beginnings of the 20th century, the country and Sarajevo itself was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and this time was a glorious one of Sarajevo because the city took another face, a European one. Afterwards it became part of Yugoslavia and then it became the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. While in Sarajevo, you will visit the city center, where you can really see the motion of the city. From there you will go to the Latin Bridge, the famous bridge where Archduke Franz Ferdinand was killed that set up the start of WWI. In Sarajevo is also the yellow fortress that is a small one, but a must-see attraction. Definitely you will also visit a part of the Old Town of Sarajevo with the cobbled narrow streets, the Ottoman style shops and buildings, etc. The area here is called Carsia and there you will also visit the Kursunlu Madrasah Mosque and Husrev Bey Mosque. After those, you will walk by the clock tower, close to the Catholic and Orthodox churches, the Jewish Synagogue, etc. After the panoramic view of Sarajevo, you will have free time for shopping in Sarajevo.

Dinner and overnight in Sarajevo.

Note: Most of the touring today is on foot and includes walking on cobblestone and uneven surfaces. Please wear comfortable footwear

Day 5 Sarajevo - Jajce - Plitvicka Jesera (~305 KM)

After breakfast, meeting your guide in the hotel, you will depart for the tour for today. Jajce was first built in the 14th century and served as the capital of the independent Kingdom of Bosnia during its time. The town has gates as fortifications, as well as a castle with walls which lead to the various gates around the town. When the Bosnian kingdom fell to the Ottoman Empire in 1463, Jajce was taken by the Ottomans but was retaken next year by Hungarian King Matthias Corvinus. About 10–20 kilometers from Jajce lies the Komotin Castle and town area which is older but smaller than Jajce. It is believed the town of Jajce was previously Komotin but was moved after the Black Death. During this period, Queen Catherine restored the Saint Mary's Church in Jajce, today the oldest church in town. There are several churches and mosques built in different times during different rules, making Jajce a rather diverse town in this aspect. During the Second World War, Jajce hosted the second convention of the Anti-Fascist Council of National Liberation of Yugoslavia, where Tito set up a provisional government and formally deprived the government in exile of its rights, the foundation for the post-war Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

After the visit to the lovely ottoman town of Jajce, you will have lunch and depart towards Croatia for a visit of the Plitvice National Park. The national park is world famous for its lakes arranged in cascades. Currently, 16 lakes can be seen from the surface. These lakes are a result of the confluence of several small rivers and subterranean karst rivers. The lakes are all interconnected and follow the water flow. They are separated by natural dams of travertine, which is deposited by the action of moss, algae, and bacteria.

Dinner and overnight in Jezero

Day 6 Plitvice - Zagreb (~150 KM)

After breakfast, meeting your guide in the hotel, you will start the tour of today in Zagreb. A fortified town began its development about the same time on the neighboring hill, later united with Zagreb. The meaning of Zagreb is "behind the hill".  The touring will start with the city Centre and the main square where among others you will visit the Cathedral of Zagreb. Also, a visit will be payed to the Cemetery and Lotrscak Tower. After the visit of the capital of Croatia, you will have free time during the afternoon at your leisure.

Dinner and overnight in Zagreb

Day 7 Zagreb - Siofok - Budapest (~345 KM)

After breakfast, meeting your guide in the hotel, you will transfer towards Hungary, with first stop in Siofok for later in the afternoon being in the capital, Budapest. Siófok is a town in Somogy county, Hungary. The charming little town is one of the most popular holiday resorts in Hungary. The name of the city literally means Cape Sió (Sió being a river through which the water of the lake is drained into the river Danube). Having the largest population among towns around the lake, Siófok is often referred to as the capital of the Lake Balaton. After the visit of the town center, Balaton Lake and Millennium Park you will have lunch before departure in Budapest. Free time at your leisure upon arrival in Budapest to relax or enjoy exploration on your own before dinner and overnight at your hotel in Budapest.
